Haven't been posting much because my days have been full of work and when I get home the last thing I want to do is get on the computer. It's quarter close at my office so everyone has been working hard and slacking off much less than normal - oh well, I guess that's the price you pay for the easy days.
The workouts are getting better, I have been swimming, running, and biking on a regular basis and this week I did my first brick workout (30 minutes on the trainer followed by a three mile run).
This last weekend my Dad and Step-Mom were in town for a couple of days on their way up to NAPA; it was nice to see them. My Dad recently bought a new motorcycle after not riding for a number of years so he has become fully enamored of the biking culture. He walked the fine line of telling me about how fun it is to ride and at the same time explaining that it can be quite dangerous to ride (he was more on the side of how fun it can be). I of course have always in the back of my mind wanted to ride a motorcycle (chopper, not street bike) but I suppose that actually learning how to ride one is the first step I should take.
We are off to Boston in a couple of weeks where I will relax and do a couple of runs by the river and Jen will be a bundle of nerves for a couple of days then run the Marathon. Next weekend we are heading to Phoenix to visit some family; the thing I am most looking forward to is TACO PIZZA AT GODFATHER'S!!! I grew up on this stuff and they don't have a single Godfather's close to our place in the Bay Area - there used to be one down by San Jose but it no longer comes up in the restaurant location finder.
I will try to get back to posting more frequently in the next week or so once everything mellows out at work.

You have been putting in far too many hours at the office- where are your priorities?? This blog isn't going to write itself!
just kidding, you are a good worker. At least your training hasn't suffered. Trainer = no excuses! Although I hear the roads miss you. Keep up the great work (work-work and training work).
Can't wait for phoenix and Boston! BOSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!
